For the past 3 years, St. Luke Orthodox Mission Church has been blessed to provide school supplies to local elementary schools in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Our small parish has donated over 500 schoolbags! We thank all our donors, packers, and volunteers for continuing to make this an impactful ministry. As you are all aware, 2020 has offered some very interesting plot twists, including remote learning for our elementary school friends. We have reached out to the schools we have worked with in the past and they have asked us to hold off on any donations until they have a better understanding of what their needs will be. In the meantime, we humbly request prayers for all students and educators as they prepare for the new school year.
